Cowfield Design is a family-run craft and design company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, specialising in high-quality, Irish-inspired gifts. Their unique, in-house designs are crafted to evoke memories of Ireland and resonate with customers around the globe. From humble beginnings in a family garage to offering international delivery, Cowfield Design has remained committed to combining craftsmanship with storytelling, sharing Irish creativity with the world.

Challenge

As Cowfield Design grew, the business faced the challenge of expanding its reach to international customers while preserving its local, handcrafted identity. The market for Irish-inspired gifts is competitive, with mass-produced products and global marketplaces often overshadowing smaller brands. This made it difficult for Cowfield Design to convey the authenticity and quality of their offerings. They needed a solution that would help them establish emotional connections with new audiences while staying true to their brand values and unique story.

Process

To address these challenges, I implemented a targeted paid social media strategy focusing on Meta Ads. The campaigns showcased Cowfield Design’s authenticity and craftsmanship by leveraging user-generated content (UGC) and founder-led storytelling. I developed scripts for videos featuring the brand’s founder, emphasising their passion for Irish-inspired design and the stories behind their products.

Testimonials were incorporated into ads to highlight the emotional connection customers had with Cowfield Design’s gifts, further enhancing trust and relatability. A streamlined testing strategy for ad creatives and targeting allowed me to identify top-performing content and optimise campaign performance. This approach successfully boosted the brand’s international reach, increased sales, and reinforced their identity as a creator of unique, high-quality gifts.
